Serving diverse communities
We have experience working with diverse communities such as HIV positive folks, refugees, disabled folks, abuse survivors (child abuse, domestic and intimate partner violence, emotional, physical, sexual violence and other forms of abuse), marginalized women, newcomers, sex workers, poly folks, queer folks, as well as trans and non-binary people. If you’re in Ontario, Canada, and are looking for online virtual services such as trauma therapy or mindfulness-based counselling, especially in relation to abuse, gender, or sexuality, you’ve come to the right place. We also provide a variety of other therapies focusing on several different topics. We serve all communities and people of all identities, especially two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) folks. 2SLGBTQIA+ trauma therapy, as a queer-run clinic, is incredibly important to us. We are covered by most insurance plans. Research has found that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy, and much more accessible.
